Virak Chan is the founder and advisor of the Center for Sustainable Water. He is a Water and Sanitation Specialist for the World Bank Group’s Water Global Practice based in Cambodia. He has over 15 years of experiences in the field of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, youth development and Community Livelihood Development. His main expertise is capacity building, social enterprise development, social research, governance and project management. He has applied his knowledge and skill in many aspects in WASH and WRM sector.
Virak obtained three master degrees, Master of Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) at University of Queensland in Australia and another is Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Development Management at Norton University in Cambodia. He has participated in various intensive trainings and workshops on water leadership, water resource management, WASH related, and social enterprise development.
