I am Theara. I graduated master’s degree in Water and Sanitation Engineering from the ITC. Currently, I am working at the ECOLAND Research Center of RUA. I am interested in the WASH sector because I want to improve access to drinkable water, proper toilets, better hygiene and health care for people in the rural area particularly for young children.

My name is Hing Sreyleak, and I am currently studying bioengineering at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (Year4). I am deeply passionate about joining WASH. It is such a good program that I have wanted to join for a long time because I see that this program always solves citizens ‘ problems related to water, and hygiene who live in rural areas. One more special is related to my topic research that I am studying at university and I hope that this program will bring me a lot of knowledge that I want to know and new experiences about working in the field also.

As a student of water & Environment I’m very curious about WASH and eager to enhance my knowledge with experts. With technological background and utilizing her professional expertise in conservation and sustainability, particularly on the Tonle Sap flooded plain, Socheata is strongly drawn to the WASH sector. Her goal is to make a meaningful impact on communities by applying technology to ensure improved access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, aligning her expertise with the pressing needs of the community.

As a bachelor degree student in Bioengineering from Royal University of Phnom Penh. Keomny is interested in Wash sector because she thinks Cambodian should be able to access more in drinking clean water and living in hygiene lifestyle. She wants to wash her community and make the clean Cambodia. Additionally, she believes that Young Professionals Program in Wash is a guiding her to fulfil her goal.

I’m an electrical and electronic engineer who graduated from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia in 2017 with a bachelor degree of electrical and electronic engineering. I’m as accomplished designer and planner. In recent years, I almost involve in the water and sanitation sector which promote inclusive planning and deployment sewerage management, and I enjoy using my skills to contribute to the exciting sewerage management, WASH action and treatment technology.
I’m so excited to be part of Young Professionals Program (YPP). Through this opportunity, I have focused on the well-being of sanitation, practicing research and collaborating with team members to finding a proper solution for solving the major issues at the local community.

graduated as a Water Resources Engineer from Thuy Loi University in Vietnam. Currently, he is working in the field of clean water supply. With his knowledge and skills, Mongkol has a deep passion to contribute in some way to the field of WASH in general and clean water supply in particular, to ensure Cambodia has safe water to use, especially in rural areas.
I can confidently say Young Professionals Program was a turning point which illuminated my passion towards the career in the water sector. Exposing myself to this opportunity, I was able to immerse in WASH knowledge, professional and soft skill development. The program also enabled to build connections and expand my network, which is very beneficial for the career path.
