Dr. Davy specializes in Water and Environmental Engineering, boasting several years of research experience. Throughout his master's and doctoral studies at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan, he undertook two significant research projects, refining his skills in research, analysis, report writing, and project management. Additionally, Davy actively contributed to a project coordination team dedicated to water-related business and sorghum experimental cultivation in a consulting company. His professional journey includes diverse experiences such as serving as a team leader in a training program focused on water and environmental issues in an arid region in China, an active participant in an international exchange training on Science and Communication with a specific focus on Climate Change at the Cornell University in the United States, and a young professional intern with the UN (United Nations) in water management at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)-Egypt. In the role as an intern at the FAO, Davy supported a project aimed at enhancing the capacity of member countries in the Near East and North Africa region to manage and develop their water resources efficiently and sustainably. In 2021, Davy joined the Center for Sustainable Water (CSW) and has coordinated and managed numerous projects in capacity development and research within water-related sectors. Currently, Davy holds the position of Executive Director at CSW, leading the organization toward its goal of enhancing Water Resources Management (WRM) and providing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services to underserved populations lacking access to safe and adequate clean water and sanitation.
Nika's deep dive into water resources and infrastructure revealed her calling: ensuring clean water for all. Now, as a program officer, she empowers young leaders through the Youth Leadership in WASH Action cohorts #1 and #2. Her passion spills over into the CEWASH program, where she spearheads initiatives that can bring clean water and sanitation solutions to communities. Nika's dedication proves that big change starts with a single drop.
Neasey has honed her skills over several years in the financial sector and holds a degree from Vanda Institute, where she developed a deep understanding of financial management and accounting principles.
Ms. Ung Rong Phaltevy brings a wealth of experience in program coordination to her role as a Program Coordinator at the Center for Sustainable Water (CSW). She has implemented and coordinated two key programs: the Young Professional Program and the Young Research Fellowship. With a strong academic background, holding an Engineering degree in Food Science and Technology from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), Ms. Phaltevy has demonstrated leadership in various programs for 5 years prior to joining CSW. Her expertise and dedication make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Sreynich graduated from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and brings a diverse background, having worked with NGOs, private companies, and the government. In her previous roles, she was involved in many creative projects and social media campaigns aimed at addressing environmental sustainability issues. With 2 years of experience in media outreach and 3 years in the NGO sector, Sreynich currently serves as a Communication Officer at the Center for Sustainable Water. Her expertise in both media and the non-profit sector enhances our ability to effectively communicate and advocate for sustainable practices.
